Wide open slopes, narrow couloirs, steep ridges and untouched powder as far as the eye can see: winter holidays at the four-star Stubaierhof are the stuff of dreams for freeriders.
Some of the best freeriding in the region can be found in the Kalkkögel peaks near the Schlick 2000 ski resort as well as on the Stubai Glacier.
In the Powder Departement, the official off-piste zone on the Stubai Glacier, there are 15 marked freeride routes that can be easily found and followed thanks to a special off-piste map and GPS coordinates.
With so many freeriding options to choose from, the only question left is - where should I shred first?
Stubai Glacier
The Stubai Glacier is home to Austria's largest glacier ski resort.
All in all there are 13 freeride runs away from the marked pistes. The resort even has its own off-piste map and GPS data.

Perfectly shaped lines, a chilled out vibe and plenty of challenging obstacles await in the two snowparks in the Stubai Valley.
The Snowpark Stubaier Zoo is one of the largest and most popular parks in Europe. Pro, Medium and Easy Lines mean there are plenty of options for all abilities. The park also regularly hosts events attracting top freestyle pros to the Stubai Valley.
The Stubaipark Schlick 2000 is located in the Schlick 2000 ski resort and has a selection of kickers and rails.
